The Porti 7-M is the entry level model in the range of sleep screening devices from Dr. Fenyves and Gut. It offers the ideal solution for home sleep testing (HST) where full sleep analysis is not necessarily required.
As the successor to the original Mini Porti five channel device, the Porti 7-M offers 7 standard channels measuring flow, oxygen saturation, pulse, pulse wave, snoring, ambient light and CPAP/BiPAP pressure. In addition, it is also possible to include a further 8 external channels for extended use in the ambulatory or clinical field.
The Porti 7-M includes a pulse wave channel, which is measured at the fingertip using an oximeter probe. Patient data is analysed to identify reductions in the pulse wave form, which indicates arousals associated with sleep breathing disorders.
The Porti 7-M uses the same software, power supply and sensors as other models in the SleepDoc Porti range, is simple to set up and operate, and can be used both in the home or hospital environment.
